I just got done watching Ripley and went to search for the movie and found that there are 2 other's besides the 1999 version and they are sequels to the book. I was very into movies around this time and shocked I had never heard of them before, I was especially a big Ripley head and would have looked forward to watching these or kept an eye out for releases. I've been noticing more and more that there are movies exist that I have no memory of, has this happened to other people? It isn't small independent movies, but with people who were fairly big stars at the time. It's FREAKING ME OUT!!
I'll begin to form a list, maybe we can find a pattern
Grand Theft Parsons (2003)
Ripley's Game (2002)
Ripley Underground (2005)
Harvard Man (2001)

The Deal (2008) William H Macy wrote and star, feel like this would have been a big deal when it came out.

Father Hood (1993). Patrick Swayze litterally the biggest movie star at the time and no one I know has even heard or seen anything about this one.

Not a movie, but I could have sworn in Spoiled episode of Tales from the Crypt, it's Michael Madsen and Lea Thompson. Instead I found it was Anthony LaPaglia, wtf!

For We Bought a Zoo, when I saw it in the theaters in 2011, Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Monagan starred in it, but when I saw it recently on streaming it was Matt Damon and ScarJo.
I thought it was a remake, but it was only a little over 10 years old? This really freaked me out!

Legal Eagles (1986) Robert Redford, Ivan Reitman,
This was a huge movie in 1986 but also never heard of it until recently. Reitman would have been still the talk of the town with Ghostbusters. i went to movies in the 80's all the time, don't even remember seeing a poster for this one.

Heart Condition (1990). A young Denzel. He probably should have gotten a oscar nom.
