Mark Wahlberg?

Does anyone else remember Mark Wahlberg being the lead in this? I remember vividly seeing this in theaters with him in it. My husband wanted to watch it recently and I couldn't find it streaming because I kept seeing Matt Damon the poster. I was completely floored when I played the trailer and it wa...

Re: Mandela Effect Movies

For We Bought a Zoo, when I saw it in the theaters in 2011, Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Monagan starred in it, but when I saw it recently on streaming it was Matt Damon and ScarJo.

I thought it was a remake, but it was only a little over 10 years old? This really freaked me out!

Re: Boring

I'm a bit of an odd ball when it comes to movies. I enjoy movies based on seasons, so it's October and I'll just watch scary movies no matter if they're good or not. I'm also into a lot weird stories. I could not get into Terrifier at all. Gore for the sake of gore is just dumb, I could watch studen...

Re: Her Plan was kind of Psychotic

This. They build her up as this woman in distress to I assume empower her but to kill herself seems to be counterintuitive. I think she was just imagining killing herself as part of her plan to frame, but that would be only what the police think if they found parts of her in the lake.

Re: Miles is the Bad Guy

This is definitely Miles' movie and I think he is the one that undergoes an arc. I do hope it becomes a better person in the future and develops a relationship with Mia. However one comment he made to Mia after she found out Jack is getting married is that he tries to separate himself from Jack and ...

Appropriate age group?

Is this appropriate for a sophomore in high school? My son and his friends want to rent this for their movie night.

Was Alfie really in love with Susan Sarandon?

She seems to be the one that hit Alfie the hardest, even moreso than Marissa Tomei. Did he just like the lifestyle?

Re: Immediate Change In Character

Maybe not an immediate change in character but something that came out of nowhere when George and Jerry were getting outed by the NYU reporter. Jerry was on the phone and said "I guess we fooled her" which even if you're being sarcastic makes no sense in the context of the conversation. It...

Re: John Dutton Hates Progress

I think this is actually a good contrast with the other series 1883. Basically you have all these people dying on a trip from Texas to Montana. One guy falls off a wagon and is run over and dies, but then you have Jimmy and Taylor Sheridan making the trip with ease in their trucks hauling horses. Ha...

Why is it called Argo?

They never really go into the detail in the movie. Seems like an interesting jumping off point.
