Llewelyn's Journey Doesn't Make Sense

He starts in Teller County I assume since that is where Bell is Sherriff. Then he goes to Del Rio to the Motel which is east, then Eagle Pass Hotel which is further East, and then double backs to El Paso that is almost 10 hours west. The mexicans get to El Paso because they are tailing the grandma but Chigurgh correctly guesses El Paso based on the airport in the "area"?!

How did Chigurgh know that he was going to Eagle Pass? I don't think the transponder had that kind of range. He saw the call logs for Odessa so you would think he would be heading west.

I love this movie, but this breakdown in logic makes it hard.
